David Alamouti
Producer/Writer/Director
David's previous productions include a documentary about an
immigrant choir for the BBC and a feature length documentary on
Iranian Cinema. In 2010, he produced the 'Citizen's Project"
(www.citizens-project.com), which was one of the
first 'webdocs' to be produced. Using only the Internet to source,
produce and distribute, the Citizen's Project bought together
nineteen filmmakers from around the world to make short form
portrait documentaries about the city they live in.
This year he has finished a feature length documentary about the
jazz virtuoso, Gilad Atzmon; and has just completed a short fiction
film called 'Mother', which is being submitted to international
festivals. He is also producing the feature documentary 'Too
Young The Hero', about Iranian youth wrestlers and their quest to
become world olympic champions.

Golriz Kolahi
Producer/Writer/Director
As well as directing and producing many short films and
documentaries, Golriz has a passion for social and political
issues. She has extensive knowledge of the geopolitics of the
Middle East; has worked with multiple NGOs and anti sanction
campaigns including the Poverty Knowledge Center trying to tackle
poverty in the Middle East by empowering women and children.
Trained as a professional painter at a young age, she gained
both her BA and MA in fine arts from Central Saint Martins School
of Art. As a video artist, she has presented her video
installations in various international galleries in cities such as
Berlin, London, Istanbul and Tehran.
Coming from a fine arts background, she intertwines politics
with an appealing visual style, which is clearly demonstrated in
her latest documentary "Gilad's and all that Jazz"; a close-up and
personal look into the controversial life and political views of
Britain's most famous Saxophonist.
Her portfolio includes a documentary looking at Iranian
society's hopes for democracy around the time when the Nobel Peace
was awarded to Shirin Ebadi, the first ever Iranian and Muslim
woman to have received the prize. The documentary, called "Toddler
on the Path to Democracy", has in-depth interviews with the noble
peace prize laureate herself and other important figures of Iran's
civil society movement.
Golriz is now producing a documentary about the lives of youth
wrestlers in Iran.
